Basketball just ain't what it used to be... at least according to Shaquille O'Neal and Reggie Miller.

During the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers game on the NBA on TNT Thursday night, Hassan Whiteside and Thomas Robinson had a heated exchange after what looked to be an offensive foul from Whiteside on Robinson. Whiteside stepped over Robinson, before some shoving occurred. Nothing too crazy, but it's the commentators who were the real entertainment.

Shaquille O'Neal and Reggie Miller were on the call, two former players who played in the mid to late '90s and 2000s, which is widely regarded as a more physical time than today's game in the NBA. As Miller insinuated a technical might be called on Whiteside, Shaq scoffed at him saying "no Reggie," as if it was a silly statement. The two then decided to have a lovely exchange about how "back in their day" that would never have been a thing.

The two players proceeded to hug it out, and that's when Shaq and Miller simply had enough...

"I never would've hugged you." Times sure have changed.
