LaVar Ball and Big Baller Brand officially unveiled Lonzo Ball’s first signature shoe on Thursday afternoon.

The shoes are going to cost people anywhere from $495 to $695 USD and that’s just for the basic shoe. If you want one autographed by Lonzo, you’re looking at dropping anywhere from $995 to $1,195 USD, or $220 USD for the flip flops.

Lonzo Ball was turned away by Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour, so his father decided to take matters into his own hands and created a signature shoe for his son.

Other players in the past have done what Ball is doing, but they didn’t sell their shoes for ridiculous prices. One former player who has his own independent line is Shaquille O’Neal, and he was not happy about the ridiculous prices that the Big Baller Brand set.

Shaq knows a thing or two about offering basketball shoes at a reasonable price for kids trying to get into the game. His personal line of shoes sell at Wal-Mart, and almost every pair available sells around $12-$16 USD.

The fact that LaVar Ball is selling his shoes for the same price that established stars and legends sell their shoes for is an absolute joke.

Based off the reactions online, these shoes most likely aren’t going to be near the top of any sneakerhead’s ‘To Buy’ list.
