On Monday, Sidney Crosby celebrated his 30th birthday and hockey fans couldn't help but look back at how much the best player in the game has accomplished thus far in his career.

On August 7th, 1987, #SidTheKid was born. Since then, he's accomplished a ton. Happy 30th Birthday Sid!

There's one award Crosby won in 2016, though, that most fans probably don't know about and it has nothing to do with hockey.

In September of 2016, Crosby won an Emmy Award for his role in 'There's No Place Like Home with Sidney Crosby' and the Emmy came in the "Sports Program One-Time Special Category."

Here's the full list of the winners, as per NHL.com:

The best part about the award was that Crosby was actually playing in a World Cup of Hockey game against Russia when the announcement was made.

If this hockey thing somehow stops working out for Sid, he's got a bright future in acting, but chances are he'll be giving teams nightmares and battling for Cups for a long time.

Can #SidneyCrosby and the #Penguins pull it off again next season? πŸ€”
