The Peoria Rivermen currently find themselves near the top of the pack in the Southern Professional Hockey League. In a recent game against the last-place Columbus Cottonmouths, the two teams needed an extra period to decide the winner.

At one point in the game, Columbus held a 4-1 lead, but three unanswered goals  by the Rivermen forced overtime, and that’s where defenceman Donald Olivieri capped off the comeback with an absolutely ridiculous goal.

You always hear about players breaking their opponent’s ankles in a basketball game, but you rarely see a deke in hockey go that far. The 25-year-old made the opposing defenceman look absolutely foolish on that play and then proceeded to do the same to the opposing goalie.

That’s how you win a game in style.
