The NBA season is getting closer to the postseason and the NCAA March Madness tournament is in full swing, so it truly is the greatest time of the year for basketball fans.

One of the best parts about the tournament is the madness at the end of the game. The deeper the tournament goes, the more buzzer beats you start to see. Young fans from all over see the joy that comes with making these shots and dream of one day being that player.

In this recent video, some North Carolina Tar Heels fans were watching the final seconds of the UNC-Kentucky game and timed out a trick shot attempt with the buzzer. You can probably guess how that ended up going.

That takes some skill – and a lot of luck – but it’s amazing either way.

We’re not sure what’s better, the fact that he timed it perfectly with the buzzer and made the shot, or the fact that his friends picked him up and carried him out of the room over their shoulders. Either way, it's been a really great week for trick shots.
