The offseason is a great time for players to unwind and prepare for the upcoming season. It’s also a great time for them to get married.

On Friday, longtime Montreal Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov tied the knot and had former teammates Alexei Emelin and P.K. Subban in attendance for the big day.
 

Subban posted the photo alongside his former teammates with a touching caption to go with it.
 

“@marki79red has been one of the most influential people in my career - wouldn't be where I am without him. Today we celebrate life and love... not a power play goal! I love you marky and couldn't be happier to be here for your special day!”

It’s pretty awesome to see former teammates come together like this during the offseason.

Earlier this week, Steven Stamkos tied the knot and he had a pretty impressive guest list of his own.
 

It’s also nice to know that Markov wasn’t worried about Subban causing a distraction at his wedding…
