Hockey fans know how tough the players are. Unless they're forced out of the game by the medical staff, you better believe the injured player will attempt to get back out on the ice. Not a cut from a skate blade, or getting hit in the face by a puck can keep a hockey player out of the game.

Sunday night in Game 3 of the Columbus Blue Jackets versus Pittsburgh Penguins series, rookie Zach Werenski proved just how tough players can be after he was on the receiving end of a puck to the face that left him bloodied.

Rather than taking the night off and healing up for Game 4, Werenski got stitched up and returned to the game.

After the game, Werenski took to Twitter to show off the nasty gash, and now Blue Jackets fans are making quite the fashion statement by rocking custom t-shirts featuring the picture of the gruesome injury.

Blue Jackets fans are clearly pretty proud of Werenski and his toughness, and this particular fan clearly doesn't care how many weird looks he gets for wearing a shirt with the injury for all to see.
