For the second season in a row, Phil Kessel is in the playoffs as the Penguins are back in the postseason for the 11th straight season.

The Pens started their Stanley Cup defence with a convincing win in Game 1 of their series against the Blue Jackets.

Kessel led the way with a goal and an assist in the win and it looks like he's right on track to be close to his 22-point postseason point total from a year ago, provided the Penguins go on a deep run.

With it being Thursday, Kessel is the subject of this 'throwback' as we go back in time and take a look at what might be the greatest rookie card of the 2000s.

Safe to say the legend of Kessel continues to grow, and if he keeps producing in the playoffs, there's no stopping the Thrill.
