The Olympics have been a hot button issue for hockey fans as NHL players are unlikely to attend, but there is no doubt that it will continue to be a big draw.
Some of the most iconic moments in hockey history have come from the Olympics, so it’s always exciting to see the look that will represent this tournament in our minds. The team can’t use their typical jerseys for this tournament, so they have new threads to show off and they revealed them today.
So far, the reaction has been mixed for their jerseys. It seems like every year there are a lot of opinions about their designs, but the teams’ performances will always reflect on how people remember the jerseys. It’s tough to imagine anyone criticizing the jersey that was worn during Crosby’s golden goal, but there’s no doubt that some people would have criticized it to begin with.
