The Vegas Golden Knights are doing their best to build a fan base in a non-traditional hockey market and they are doing a great job of it so far.
If the owner of the team is to be believed, they rank very high in 2017-18 ticket sales and there appear to be fans popping up everywhere. Part of that has to be as a result of their strong social media presence. The latest trick up their sleeve is getting their fans to pick Calvin Pickard’s mask for the upcoming season.
Fans have been very open to the idea and have been submitting original designs with the hashtag #PicksMaskContest. So far, the submissions have been plentiful.
There are a lot of great submissions in there, but it remains to be seen who will be the winner. On our side, we’re voting for Jeannette Hall, Viva VGK or Becca The Knight.
