Thursday, the New Jersey Devils held a promotional night that has to rank right up there with the top ideas of the season -- WWE night.

On top of decorating the Prudential Center with a whole assortment of WWE memorabilia, the Devils also got WWE superstar Daniel Bryan to serve as the master of ceremonies, getting him to cut a wicked promo during the game.

Honestly, every team in the NHL should consider getting a WWE star to serve as an in-arena host. Although, the Devils may not actually need a wrestler on site every week, as their mascot has the part nailed down. He even decked someone with a chair.

Oh, and more importantly, he had his very own custom fitted. Stone Cold Steve Austin vest. "one goal, two goal, three goal! Shot of Gatorade!"
