A dog wearing an Aleksander Barkov jersey got to meet the real Aleksander Barkov and you would think it actually watches hockey with how excited it is.
They were holding a season ticket holder event and someone approached the team with their dog wearing a Barkov jersey, and it immediately became a star. Aaron Ekblad deemed it Barkov’s twin, it had an ear to ear grin when Barkov picked it up and it was even transformed into a vintage meme.
Oh, and of course, with a name that includes “Bark” in it, there were a lot of puns thrown around.

Now we’re only left wondering what the dog’s actual name is. We hope its BARK-ov, but we have our doubts. It’s probably wrinkles or something.
