Uh-oh.

The football is in a panic after its star player went down with an awful injury. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was hit by Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr and was forced to leave the game. The team later confirmed that Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone and could miss the rest of the season. Third-year backup Brett Hundley has been inserted in his place.

With so much on the line (for both Packers fans and fantasy football players), Twitter exploded with comments on the injury. As you’re about to see, fans, former teammates, and other members of the football community shared similar reactions.

In the span of ten days, the NFL has now lost J.J. Watt, Odell Beckham Jr. and Aaron Rodgers to potentially season ending injuries.

The news is devastating, as the NFL won't have the same feel without its star quarterback. In the meantime, the NFC North is now up for grabs by default, with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions lurking behind the Packers. Whether you're a fan of a different divisional team or just don't like Green Bay, everyone can agree that Rodgers makes the game of football better. Hopefully we'll see #12 out on the field in the not-so-distant future.
