For those not keeping track, the Vegas Golden Knights are 2-0 this preseason and their having a ton of fun winning games off and on the ice.
After Vegas defeated Colorado 4-1 Tuesday night, they fired some shots on Twitter at a few NFL teams that don't have as many wins as they do.
As always, the tweet was well timed and amazing, but one fan decided to counter with this argument:
Claude is correct, but the Golden Knights dodge the counterpunch and hit him with a knockout blow:
As fun as that little Twitter battle was, it was just the tip of the iceberg because the Canadiens decided they needed to defend themselves and get involved:
Solid response, right? Wrong.
The Habs suffered the same fate as many other team Twitter accounts and fans following along with the battle kind of loved it.
Montreal has a chance at revenge when they host Vegas for the first time on November 7th.
