The Golden Knights recorded their first win in franchise history on Friday night, defeating the Dallas Stars 2-1.

Saturday, the Golden Knights secured a second win before the puck even dropped thanks to the gem who runs their team Twitter account. Once again, the person running the Knight's account was in top form, this time taking aim at hockey fans who turn their noses up in the air at the idea of cities located in the desert having hockey teams. With the Knights in Arizona facing the Coyotes, this was the first-ever meet-up between two desert teams in the history of the NHL.

That's why the Knights had a message prepared to those who may look down on desert hockey.

The Golden Knights just stay winning. And we would have to agree with the Knights that seeing the two desert communities face-off for the first-time ever was a beautiful thing. The more fans, the better!
