The Vegas Golden Knights could not have asked for a better start to their franchise. They are now 13-6-1, their fan base is growing at an exponential rate, and their social media team is probably the best in sports. It’s all flashing lights and happy noises in the casino town’s hockey scene.

On Wednesday, the Golden Knights scored four unanswered goals (including three in the 3rd) to complete a comeback 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

The win pushed them back into first place of the Pacific Division, and also gave them their 13th win of the season. This ties the league record for most wins in a franchise’s first 20 games of their inaugural season.

The first team to do it? The Montreal Canadiens, a century ago.

What makes it even more impressive is that they technically accumulated more points than the Habs, considering they had an Overtime appearance that resulted in a loss. That officially makes their first 20 games the best ever.

That wasn’t the only record broken Wednesday night
