For the second time in club history, the Montreal Canadiens have fired Michel Therrien and hired Claude Julien.

After Bob McKenzie alluded earlier in the week that the Habs wouldn’t be sitting on their hands on their week off, they most certainly didn’t. The last time Julien coached for the Canadiens was in 2006, and he has been coaching the Bruins since the 2007-08 season. Obviously, with one of the most successful coaches of the past decade switching sides of the border to his former teams biggest rival has created some waves online.

Excited Habs fans, angry Bruins fans and shocked media members make up the best reactions from the Canadiens’ coaching change.

Ladies and gentlemen... Your new coach of the #Montreal #Canadiens, #ClaudeJulien
