This past week, Bryan Bickell made his return to the ice in Carolina for the first time since being diagnosed with MS last November. As you can probably guess, it was an emotional night for Bickell and his teammates.

On Saturday, Bickell was the guest of honour at the annual Walk MS at PNC Arena. Before the walk got started, the 31-year-old got an unexpected surprise from his teammates.

His teammates made the day all about him, and they kept the trend going into their game against the St. Louis Blues.

For their final home game of the season, every player hit the ice with No. 29 on their helmets, in honour of Bickell.

With a stop in the action late in the game, every person in attendance stood up to give Bickell and standing ovation one last time.
