After patiently waiting, Canadian hockey fans got the ultimate gift Monday night, World Junior hockey.

Canada opened up the tournament against Russia in Toronto, and after a disappointing tournament last year, the team didn't dissapoint in the opener as they dominated from start to finish and won 5-3.

Anyone that watched the game knows that the final score didn't illustrate how dominant a victory it really was, but regardless, a win is a win, and Canadians were very excited with Canada's performance.
