The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 is nearing an end as teams have started advancing to the next round. On Wednesday, Barcelona and Paris SG wrapped up their two-game series in Barcelona. After Paris Saint-Germain took the first game 4-0, Barcelona needed a massive victory if they wanted to advance.
With a 3-1 lead late in the game, Barcelona found themselves three goals short. That’s when they completed the greatest comeback in Champions League history by scoring three quick goals to take a 6-5 aggregate victory over Paris SG to advance to the quarterfinals. With it being one of the craziest comebacks to ever occur, you can bet the soccer world was just as shocked as fans were.
It truly was a comeback that no one has ever seen before and it might be one we never see again, at least not anytime soon.
