The Cleveland Indians set a major league record by winning 22 regular season games in 2017, but it was all for not as the team failed to make it past the ALDS.


The club that blew a 3-1 World Series lead to the Chicago Cubs in the 2016 MLB postseason once again blew a series lead, with the New York Yankees storming back down 2-0 to win the series in five games and advance to the ALCS to face the Houston Astros with the winner heading to the World Series.

And wouldn’t you know it, Twitter brought their A game following Wednesday night’s collapse, and roasted the team pretty good.

Being a fan of the Cleveland baseball club isn’t easy at the moment considering how dominant they were in the regular season. But that’s why we watch sports, because come playoff time, anything can happen, especially in baseball where the playoffs are unpredictable as they come.
