Last night was a special night for basketball, especially for Spurs fans.
Tim Duncan’s jersey retirement offered a lot of hilarious and heartwarming stories, but one stood out from the rest. In Gregg Popovich’s speech, he told a story about Tim Duncan and carrot cake.
Basically, one time, he found out that TD loved carrot cake, brought it to his room, and then kept doing that for 19 seasons. It became an expectation and Pop joked that he would only do that for him because Tim was special.
Well, apparently carrot cake is a hot button issue, because that set the internet off.
By the way, carrot cake rules and anyone who says otherwise will have to answer to Tim Duncan.
