It’s rare that you see a genuine feud between professional athletes in this day and age. With the ease of communication, any grievances are likely settled between the two athletes, so it never becomes a bigger story.

That is not the case with Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.

Although Westbrook has recently said he doesn’t want to answer questions about Durant any more, people will look for any opportunity to ask them. Westbrook is enough of a story on his own this season, considering he is averaging a triple-double 30 games into the season, but the Durant storyline keeps coming back.

After hitting a shot in warmups, Russell Westbrook excitedly ran off the court and yelled something that the internet thought was “Thank you Kyrie”!

If you want to hear “Thank you Kyrie”, you will. It sounds close enough. That's what most people in the responses to that tweet heard. But after a reporter asked Westbrook about it, it’s clear that was not what he was saying. He was apparently saying "Thank you Jayme", to one of his trainer's daughters. He wraps it up pretty nicely when he says “I would never say no other man’s name like that”. WARNING: He got pretty NSFW in his response to the question.

Either way, this Christmas Day, we would like to take this moment to thank Brodie for the countless highlights he has provided us this season.

Russell Westbrook dropped 46 on the Hawks for his third 40-pt game this season.
