After 13 season in the NFL, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is reportedly set to retire, choosing to hang up his cleats in favour of getting into broadcasting.
Although the oft-injured quarterback was never able to take the Cowboys to a Super Bowl, looking at Romo's statistics reveals that when he was healthy, he was certainly elite. That's why when the news of Romo's possible retirement broke, the sports world had plenty to say about the 4-time Pro Bowler.
Obviously, not everyone on Twitter was as complimentary of Romo's playing career with the Cowboys quarterback riding off into the sunset. No, some fans went full meme mode, chirping Romo's (playfully) lack of playoff success.
So where does Tony Romo belong in the pantheon of great NFL quarterbacks?
