Amid a six-game losing streak, the Toronto Maple Leafs are making a change. Mike Babcock is out, and he’ll be replaced by Marlies head coach Sheldon Keefe for Thursday’s game against the Coyotes.

There have been rumblings about a potential change at the helm amid the Leafs’ recent slide, which has seen them fall to the middle of the pack in the Atlantic Division. Expectations were high for the team after handing out big contracts this summer, but the results have fallen short so far. The Leafs lost to the Golden Knights, 4-2, on Wednesday night.

Babcock has three full seasons remaining on the five-year, $80 million contract he signed in 2015.
