For the first time in franchise history, the Stanley Cup Final is in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Nashville Predators faithful are soaking in every moment of it.

Before, during, and after Game 3, Predators fans were in their seats chanting in unison. From something as simple as “Go Preds Go,” to chants as complicated as “He shoots, he scores, you suck! Murray, you suck! It’s all your fault!”

#Predators fans let #MattMurray have it with their chants in Game 3. Expect more of the same tonight.

There’s really nothing better than the crowd taking over the game, and that’s exactly what the Nashville Predators did so fantastically in Game 3.

For professional wrestling fans, a comparable atmosphere is the ‘Raw after WrestleMania,’ an infamous night for chants that echo throughout the arena, which help fans take over the television broadcast. For soccer fans, it’s a more common occurrence as a tradition for teams and countries, but is rarely transferred over to other sports, or to North America in general.

After hearing the chants early on in Game 3, we noticed similar chants during goal celebrations later in the game. After some research, we finally know what Predators fans are chanting every time they score a goal.

While the goal chant is broad, and mocking any opposing team they could be playing on any given day, they have gotten really specific with the Penguins, going after Matt Murray in Game 3.

We wonder what players the Nashville fans will have chants ready for during Game 4…
