The Sacramento Kings don’t have much to cheer about these days. Since they lost the former face of their franchise when DeMarcus Cousins was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans last season, they haven’t had anyone that can take over their matches (although they did sign Vince Carter, who we believe will be awesome forever).

The bottom-feeder franchise decided to shake things up a bit and let a “celebrity” take over their social media for a game against the Portland Trailblazers . But if you’re thinking it’s some movie star that has made their way to Sacramento from Hollywood, think again.

Hank, a “celebrity pet” pig from the social media accounts My Best Friend Hank, is the high-profile social takeover. This is fairly similar to the takeover the Kings had done by a Corgi last year. The pig that once met Seth Rogan at one of the many events he attends wasted no time in leaving his mark on the franchise’s social media.

This is @mybestfriendhank and he’ll be taking over our channels for Social Media Night! 🐷

Well, what do you know? The Kings would end up beating the Trailblazers, making the franchise 2-0 when an animal takes over their accounts. We expect to see some kind of hedgehog take over the Kings’ wild social accounts sometime in the near future.
