Thursday night was a big night for the Pittsburgh Penguins and their fans.

After getting dominated on the road in Game 3 and Game 4, they bounced back with a massive 6-0 victory to inch a little closer to winning the Stanley Cup.

The Penguins took a 6-0 lead into the second intermission, so tempers started to flare in the final frame. The teams ended up dropping the gloves a couple of times, which really got the fans going, but one fan went overboard with his celebration, according to the PPG Paints Arena security.

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell took in Game 5 with a friend and was really fired up after members of the Penguins and the Predators dropped their gloves for the second time in the period. However, it turns out the security didn’t appreciate the way he was banging on the glass and gave him the boot before the game concluded.

This has to be the most ridiculous reason for getting ejected in the history of sports.
