It's been an interesting week for the Golden State Warriors to say the least.

On Tuesday night, Kevin Durant went down with an injury against the Wizards, and Wednesday the team announced he'd be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Wednesday, the team also signed Jose Calderon after cutting Briante Weber for point guard depth, but Durant's injury forced the team to put Calderon on waivers and sign Matt Barnes.

Before you start feeling bad for Calderon though, consider this, he got paid $415,000 for his two-hour stint with Golden State.

Absurd, right?  The Warriors even had jerseys made for Calderon for the game against Chicago Thursday night.

At the end of the day, it was a nice gesture by the Warriors as they honoured their intention to sign Calderon and they put him on waivers so he'll be eligible for the playoffs if another contender decides to pick him up.
