Colorado Avalanche forwards Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene, along with goaltender Calvin Pickard are enjoying the ‘good life’ while competing for Team Canada at the 2017 IIHF World Championships.

After a historically bad season, where their team finished dead-last in the NHL, the three will be competing for a gold medal against Sweden. To put into perspective just how bad the Avs’ season was, take a look at these ridiculous stats.

As of yesterday, MacKinnon, Duchene, and Pickard have more wins in the tournament (preliminary, quarter-final, semi-final matchups) than Colorado totaled from November 23 to February 17 (seven in 24), and from the same February date until the end of the season (seven of 27 including Feb. 17 game).

The team totaled just nine more wins on the year, to finish with a 22-56-4 record.

No one likely wants this championship more than these three.
