For seemingly no reason, John Tortorella was asked if he thinks LeBron James would be a good hockey player. In typical Torts fashion, he was brutally honest when stating his opinion on LeBron’s potential in hockey.

LeBron is widely regarded as a freak athlete who could succeed in many sports other than basketball, particularly football.

However, there is one thing that makes hockey a little more difficult to translate. If you don’t already have elite skating skills, then there’s basically no way you can make it to the NHL. And that’s what Torts focused on, when asked the question earlier this week on a 92.3 The Fan show, "The Bull and The Fox", he said LeBron was “Too damn big,” and that “He can’t skate”.

Well, as this comic (That we worked with Pengellyink to create) points out, there is one advantage that LeBron would have switching from basketball to hockey: net size.

There's 'not a chance' LeBron James can play hockey, John Tortorella?

Not only are the nets much bigger in hockey, but they still want to make them bigger. Although if we’ve learned anything from Happy Gilmore, it’s that if you can’t skate, use your supernatural abilities somewhere else.
