In racing, crashes happen. In fact, they should be expected when you consider the high speeds drivers are regularly forced to take around narrow corners.

At the Guia Circuit on the streets of Macau, a failed turn led to a massive pileup that left an array of stunning vehicles damaged. As the chaos ensued, the play-by-play commentator offered an animated response in which he immediately pointed to the amount of damage in dollars that must have occurred.

Upon first glance there are vehicles from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and Audi (to name a few) so yeah, there’s "millions and millions and millions" of dollars worth of damage in that mess.

As the colour analyst was quick to point out, only four cars managed to make it through. Here’s another angle of the action that a spectator was able to capture from above.

In total, 16 cars were caught up in the collision. The corner is known as the ‘Police Bend’ and is one of the tightest on the 3.8 mile circuit.

The crash wasn’t the only scary moment on this track, as Laurens Vanthoor endured a massive flip during last year’s race, too.

Lucikly Laurens, and the drivers from this year’s pile up were all okay. Though tons of damage was done, at least viewers were treated to an epic call from the broadcasting team.
