Can you believe that we're less than a week away from Christmas?  It seems like the holidays just sneak up on us a little faster each and every year, but we wouldn't have it any other way because it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

Not only are the NBA and NHL seasons nearing the halfway point, but Bowl season is here, the push for the playoffs in the NFL is heating up, the World Juniors are starting soon, and oh yeah, MLB free agency is still a thing.

Aside from sports, though, it's the most wonderful time of the year because it's the season of giving, and nothing brings more joy to our hearts than the power that giving.

At Monday night's Leafs and Ducks game, the spirit of giving was on full display as the team gave away season tickets for the 2017-18 season to a dad and his son, and the father's reaction to winning the tickets was priceless.

Christmas makes everyone feel like a kid again.

Ryan, the guy won the tickets, thanked the Leafs on behalf of him and his son after winning them.

The holidays are a magical time, and sometimes sports make them even more magical.  Although the Leafs couldn't make the night even more magical with a win, this team should be even better by next season, which means Ryan and his son could be seeing a more wins in the future.
