Monday, Anaheim Ducks legend Teemu Selanne was officially inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame during the 2017 ceremony.

Getting inducted into the hall-of-fame is essentially the top honour a hockey player can hope to receive, which made Monday a pretty huge day for all five of the inductees, including Selanne.

You would think that on a day as huge as induction day that Selanne may be a little too nervous to make time for fans in attendance, but nope, the man was not only out there on the red carpet taking pictures and signing autographs, he was was also making sure that no one was left hanging. Like this guy who just really, really wanted to get a fist bump from the Finnish star.

We don't know who "the dog" is, but he finally got a "pound." No "woof, woof" though. That may have been pushing it, though. Fellow hall-of-famer Steve Yzerman also spoke with the TSN social team ahead of Monday evening's ceremony, congratulating the class of 2017.

Congratulations to the 2017 Hockey Hall of Fame induction class on their incredible achievement!
