The NHL talent coming out of Nova Scotia in the past decade has been elite.

Every summer, we see Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon training or sharing pranking people at Tim Hortons, but you don’t see them sharing that same bond with the player who is likely the second best player from the province, Brad Marchand.

The pesky Boston Bruins forward was born and raised in Halifax, and last year he exploded for 85 points. He even brought the Stanley Cup back to Halifax in 2011 and represented Canada at the World Cup of Hockey. Still, this Nova Scotia restaurant wasn’t at all interested in his accomplishments, as he ranks by far the lowest on this list of price adjustments.

Atlantic Canada’s favourite team is the Habs, so we’re sure that’s the reason.

The Habs and Bruins have had one of the fiercest rivalries in hockey over the last decade and clearly there are still some hard feelings. Still, we think it’s best to leave these emotions on the ice – although Marchand doesn’t mind the ribbing.

He spoke to Cabbie about being a villain earlier this year.
