The Nashville Predators blue line has put themselves among some of the all-time greats, mostly due to their well-rounded structure.

The Nashville Predators have been a great defensive team for years. Season after season, they have bolstered an elite defensive core, but it has reached another level in 2016-17. The blockbuster trade that brought P.K. Subban to the music city the Predators has helped carry the team all the way to the Stanley Cup Final.

It’s not that Subban is the best defenceman in the league, but he just adds to an already stacked group of defenders – a group that has achieved something only two others have. While ranking highly in most defensive categories in the postseason, their even contributions have put them among the best offensive blue lines of all-time. They’re one of only three teams to have four defencemen tally at least 10 points in a single postseason.

The other two? The 1983-84 Edmonton Oilers and the 1993-94 Los Angeles Kings, who both played behind Wayne Gretzky.

This blue line is certainly worth the price of admission. Well, some prices of admission. We’re not sure we’d pay as much as some Nashville fans, who reportedly paid approximately 10.000 USD per ticket.
