Every year you hear about the growing list of Cleveland Browns quarterback as they have struggled to find any consistency since the new millennium.

Yesterday, the team started another new face under centre, DeShone Kizer, against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He performed as well as anyone could expect, but Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers came away with another win at FirstEnergy Stadium. This has become so common in recent years that somehow, Big Ben now has the most wins of any quarterback (Including Browns QBs) at FirstEnergy Stadium.

That has to be one of the saddest stats ever.

When you look at their records at home, it’s not all that surprising for this team. Consider that in their 18 years at FirstEnergy Stadium, they have only won 51 games at home. That’s averaging under three wins per season at home.

In that same time frame, the Browns have started 27 different quarterbacks. So, divy those wins up equally among them and each QB would average less than two wins at home per season. So, with 11 wins at FirstEnergy Stadium, it’s a shocker that it’s taken Roethlisberger this long to reach this title. And unfortunately for Browns fans, the QB that has tortured them the most for the last decade will continue to hold this record until at least next season.

Even if all goes right, Kizer could only win a maximum 7 games at home this season and then would need another 4 next season. Poor, poor Browns fans.
