Tim Tebow was a beyond polarizing figure as a football player, and that volatility has only increased as he’s tried to make his way into baseball.

The Heisman Trophy winning former quarterback took part in his first Spring Training with the New York Mets this spring, and now that the season is underway he has been sent down to the Class A Columbia Fireflies.

Tebow’s first game with the Fireflies was on Thursday, and you won’t believe what he did in his first minor league at bat.

It appears not even Tebow knew what he had done, as one can see him stop at second base thinking it was a ground rule double.

You’re Tim Tebow! Of course it was a home run!
