Tom Brady named Madden 18 cover athlete

A member of the New England Patriots will grace the cover of Madden for the second straight season.

EA Sports unveiled the Madden 18 cover on Friday morning and it features Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Believe it or not, this is the first time the five-time Super Bowl champion will be on the cover of Madden.

Brady will be the 7th quarterback to land on the cover since they replaced John Madden with actual NFL players back in 2001, and is the first quarterback to be featured as the cover athlete since 2011 when Drew Brees was on the cover.
