The 2017 NFL Hall of Fame class included LaDainian Tomlinson, Terrell Davis, Kurt Warner, Jason Taylor, Morten Andersen, Kenny Easley and Jerry Jones. Which of those players got backing from Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady in the form of personalized, heartfelt letters of recommendation to voters to help influence their decision?

The correct answer is defensive end Jason Taylor, who spent the majority of his career with the Miami Dolphins. Playing for the Dolphins means Taylor saw Brady and the Patriots at least twice a year, and it turns out Brady developed a certain respect for the man he lined up against on the majority of plays when facing the Phins.

We're positive Taylor would have ended up in the Hall Of Fame either way, but receiving a letter from arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time praising Taylor's work ethic, character and athletic ability surely help.

See the letter here:

Like we said above, Taylor is a Hall Of Famer either way, but a first ballot Hall Of Famer? We're not sure.

Terrell Owens might want to reach out to Brady within the next calendar year, because one of the greatest receivers to ever play the game has apparently been having some trouble getting on the voters good side.
