After months of speaking it into existence, LaVar Ball's son Lonzo was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Big Baller Alert! The #Lakers select #LonzoBall with the 2nd pick in the 2017 #NBADraft

LaVar told the sports world it would happen, and when the Lakers decided to trade D'Angelo Russell to the Nets before the draft, it was essentially a foregone conclusion that he'd be drafted by Los Angeles.

It's no secret, though, that fans and even some players highly dislike LaVar for all of the ridiculous things he's said about himself and his son.

That is just one of the many ridiculous statements LaVar has made, and Thursday night after Lonzo was drafted second overall, LaVar said something else outrageous (shocker).

While Twitter was probably entertained more than anything, some NBA players weren't, including last year's first overall pick Ben Simmons.

If you thought that was funny, wait until you see what Joel Embiid tweeted about Lonzo and LaVar.

Shots fired and Twitter absolutely loved it.

If the process involves making the Ball family look like fools on the court, many basketball fans will be happy.

That said, Lonzo is extremely talented and he knows there's a giant target on his back.  In other words, he's ready.
