Nick Ritchie's hit on Viktor Arvidsson in Game 6 was a particularly nasty one. So nasty that Ritchie was ejected. Facing elimination, Ritchie's vicious hit may just prove to leave an indelible mark on the Ducks' playoff fate...kinda like how it left an indelible mark on Arvidsson's forehead.
The hit left a noticeably strange cut mark on Arvidsson's forehead, one in the shape of an R.
Although Arvidsson had to leave the game to get the cut cleaned up, once he had been all mended up, he returned to the Predators' bench. And by the time he returned, the internet had gone to town commenting on his R shaped cut.
Hope Arvidsson likes Harry Potter, because he's surely got a new wizardly nickname for the foreseeable future.
