Regardless of what your stance is on fighting in hockey, right now it's in the game.

Hockey is a physical sport and when things get heated, fists sometimes do start to fly.

Obviously that can happen in any sport, but it's more likely to happen in hockey due to the fact that the consequences are much less harsh than in other sports.

Sunday, in a game between the Phantoms and Bruins (AHL), a fight was brewing, and things finally reached a boiling point as two Canadians, Tyler Randell and Tyrell Goulbourne dropped the gloves and exchanged haymakers.

A lengthy brawl, especially considering the fact the two just kept throwing punches.

The balance both displayed to stay upright was also impressive.

Aside from the fight, there wasn't much other rough stuff during the game as the teams combined for 28 penalty minutes in a 7-3 Providence win.

Although Randell didn't record a point in the win, his performance did get him third star of the game honours.
