The NHL released the expansion draft list to the public on Sunday morning and some teams shocked their fans with the list of players they were leaving unprotected.
The list was scheduled to be released at 10 AM Eastern time, but ended up getting pushed back another 30 minutes as the deadline approached.
However, once 10:30 AM Eastern hit, the lists were in as Golden Knights general manager George McPhee received them and shared them with his staff.
McPhee has had some time to think about what he’s going to do with this team, but now that he has a true understanding of who’s available and who isn’t, it’s time for him and his staff to get down to business and start forming their team.
