So, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has done basically everything right since signing with the Toronto Blue Jays and being named their top prospect.

Obviously, a lot of hype comes with his name, but the Expos legend’s son has lived up to the name along every step of his development as a prospect. Most of the hype has been built with his bat and the power potential he possesses.

However, the latest example of his talent is on the defensive side of the ball. First picking a ball off the dirt with his bare hand and then showing shades of his father’s arm with an absolute rocket to first.

The Blue Jays farm system has been quickly replenished with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leading the way, impressing many people. That list of people also includes his father who shared this clip on Instagram with the caption:

“El tempo de dios, es perfect!”

This is an expression in Spanish that translates to “God’s timing is perfect”. The meaning of the expression usually means that things will unfold as they are meant to, but we can’t help but draw a parallel to the internal clock that baseball players often refer to and Vladdy Jr.’s ability to put a little extra mustard on his throw to make sure to get the man at first.

God-like timing from the Blue Jays number one prospect.

The game was against Canada’s Junior National Team and the Blue Jays ended up winning 16-0. We’re sure we’ll see a lot more from Guerrero Jr. this year in the minors.
