It's no secret that NHL players want to go to the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

Over the last several months, many big names haven't been afraid to share their thoughts and feelings on being omitted from the international event.

Alex Ovechkin has been the one of the most outspoken players when it comes to the Olympics issue and many of his peers share similar feelings and have let the NHL know.

Canadian Marc-Edouard Vlasic, who signed an extension with the Sharks this offseason, had a great response when asked about the Olympics back in July, and on Thursday he doubled down on Twitter.

Many fans probably noticed that the Olympic medals were revealed for the world to see and Vlasic used that as an opportunity to once again let the NHL know how he feels about not being able to represent his country in 2018.

Vlasic won gold with Canada during the 2014 winter games, but his only focus this season will be on winning a Stanley Cup with the Sharks rather than another medal and a Cup.
