We would guess that almost every athlete out there (if not every athlete) has a superstition, whether it be taking the same route to the arena or listening to the same songs before a game.

There's also an unwritten rule in sports that is kind of a superstition, and it involves the team's logo.  Everyone knows you can't step on the team logo in the locker room and players always avoid doing that.

You just don't do it and whether that be because of superstition or respect, it's all the same.

We're not sure if it the same unwritten rule applies to the World Series logo, but Clayton Kershaw certainly acted like it did apply on Monday ahead of Game 1 in Los Angeles.

Kershaw's teammate Justin Turner, however, did his best to make sure he walked on the logo (he probably didn't care).
Now, someone pointed this fact out on Twitter and we're not sure if it's correct.
Regardless, whether it's superstition, an unwritten rule or something completely different, none of it matters on Tuesday because Game 1 is the only focus and you can bet the Astros want to ruin the Dodgers' return to the World Series with a huge road win.
