Before Friday Connor McDavid had never played sledge hockey before, but he definitely knows a thing or two about scoring beauty goals on ice.

Taking part in an event for Canadian Tire's Jump Start program, McDavid tried his hand at sledge hockey for the first time ever, and as it turns out, the Oilers superstar is pretty good at it. After handling the puck with a quick left to right, McDavid finished the move off with a quick wrister, going BarDown.

The event organized by Canadian Tire saw McDavid participate in a skills session in his hometown of Newmarket, Ontario, run by two members of Canada's national Para ice hockey team, Greg Westlake and Dominic Cozzolino.

Judging by that smile across McDavid's face, it looked like he had a ton of fun! This clip of the Oilers star getting onto the ice for the first time on the sledge serves as further proof of that.
