Since 2014, New York Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello has hosted the Zuccarello All-Star Game in his native Norway as a way to raise money for charity.

This year’s event took place at the DNB Arena in Stavenger, Norway, on Wednesday night and it was a showdown between past and current NHL stars. One side, Team Zuccarello, was led by the Rangers forward, while the other side, Team Forsberg, was led by two-time Stanley Cup champion Peter Forsberg.

With players such as Nicklas Backstrom, Marcus Johansson, Mika Zibanejad, Carl Hagelin and Oscar Lindberg all taking part in the charitable game, fans were treated to quite the show.

With Team Forsberg leading 5-3, newest New Jersey Devils forward Marcus Johansson made a sweet pass to set up Forsberg for a nice goal to extend the lead.

The 44-year-old made no mistake putting the puck in the back of the net and showed everyone in attendance that he’s still got it.

The goal ended up being a big one as Team Forsberg managed to beat Team Zuccarello 8-7.

There’s no word just yet as to how much the Rangers forward raised through the event, but last year they managed to raise nearly $200,000 with proceeds going towards Right To Play, which Zuccarello has been an Athlete Ambassador for since 2013.
