Opening night is always special for the team that just won a championship during the previous season because they get to celebrate that accomplishment one last time with the fans.

On Wednesday night, the defending champion Pittsburgh Penguins began their quest for a third straight Cup by hosting the Blues, but before the game got underway, there was some important business to take care of first.

After all the players were introduced and Sidney Crosby brought the Stanley Cup out, the Penguins raised their fifth Stanley Cup banner to the rafters.

The banner looks incredible, but you can be sure the fans and players want to be watching a sixth banner go up on opening night next season, too, and that will only happen if the Penguins can find a way to win their third straight Stanley Cup.
